Μια υπέροχη νησιώτικη αυλή στο κέντρο της Χώρας, το αεράκι να έρχεται, ούτε δυό βήματα πιο πέρα δυτικά από τη μεριά της Αλεφκάντρας, η μουσική να χορεύει απαλά τα δέντρα και τους περαστικούς και λεπτές μυρωδιές ιταλικής κουζίνας να σου σπάνε τη μύτη, αυτό είναι το Μαμαλούκα πάνω στο κεντρικό Ματογιάνι. Ενας πανέμορφος χώρος που δεν υπάρχουν λόγια να τον περιγράψουν. Άνθρωποι χαμογελαστοί που νοιάζονται για τους επισκέπτες και οι καλύτερες γεύσεις βγαλμένες από την Ιταλική και Μεσογειακή κουζίνα από φρέσκα προιόντα του νησιού, είναι λίγα μόνο από αυτά που μπορούν να ειπωθούν.Το υπόλοιπο είναι αυτό το πέρα από τη λογική, η μαγεία της ατμόσφαιρας που μόνο όταν βρεθείς εκεί μπορείς να νιώσεις. The palm tree shaded courtyard is a relaxing, cool venue for lunch transforming into a more romantic setting at night with candles and soft lighting. Typical Mykonos courtyard with white washed walls, palm trees for shade and plants such as lavender, bougainvilleas and basil lining the walls. Split level space with two separate entrances. The main entrance is a passageway lined with discreet lighting built into the wall. Brightly coloured tiled floors throughout, built in banquettes with vibrant cushions, undressed wood tables, wood chairs upholstered in striped fabric, central illuminated bar with bar stools.

With the theme “eat local” Mamalouka features local produce – meat, fish and vegetables – on its predominately Mediterranean menu, plus an oyster bar. Only local fresh ingredients are used to create the menu. Try dishes such as baked salmon with herbs and wasabi mayonnaise, marinated sea bass in olive oil and lemon dressing, baby lamb cooked in the oven, wrapped in vine leaves, stuffed with feta cheese, risotto with monkfish and mussels in a creamy curried sauce, stuffed roasted chicken, lobster linguine and Chateaubriand with Béarnaise & truffle sauce (for 2).
