“Often also spelled Platis Gialos (and sometimes Platis Yialos), this large beach is quite popular.  The hotels, sunbeds and umbrellas, plus the shallow and clear waters, usually attract families and young couples. Those who wish to explore other beaches, can hop on a boat that departs from here, around every hour, to Paradise, Super Paradise and other beaches on the southern end of the island. If you enjoy water sports, this is the beach for you.”   The Mykonos Beach Guide
