Beach

The idyllic nature of our beach is unique on the island, with our acclaimed rock taking centre stage in the sea right in front of Kalua and the protected shape of our bay enabling a perfect beach day no matter what the wind conditions are. Whether you would like a group bungalow, front row cabana or single sunbeds, make sure to book your spot and leave the rest in our hands.

Enjoy a beach-tailored version of our food menu right from your sunbed with delicious salads, snacks and sandwiches, as well as our whole selection of sushi. The complete bottle, wine & cocktails as well as shisha menus are also at your full disposal.

Our DJ and fantastic entertainment duo, aka Shaya & Tiago, will bring you all the fun with live singing, performing and saxophone tunes ensuring you party the day and night away.

 

 

 

Party

Life is a beach party – do you ever really need a reason to dance? Dance the day away with us to the beat of the music as it mingles with the saltwater in the air and you’ll physically feel any care you have melt away into the summer breeze. Our daily entertainment schedule brings you live performances of singing, dancing and saxophone tunes by our fantastic artists Shaya & Tiago along with our resident DJ who will play in signature Kalua style.

Multi-award-winning Shaya launched her career as a participant on the TV show PopStars and as a member of the popular girl band Hi5. She has since realized a successful solo career, highlights of which include winning Best Hip Hop Song at the 2008 MAD VMA’s; recording for the Greek version of High School Musical 3; and collaborating on two chart-topping songs with Mark F. Angelo. Since releasing her debut album, “Resurrection,” with MY Group and Sony music in 2011, Shaya participated in two musicals, Broadway’s “Sweet Charity” in 2016 in Athens, Greece and Tony award-winning, “The Book of Mormon,” in Copenhagen, Denmark in 2018. In 2018 Shaya joined Kalua as our main singer, infusing the beach party 6 days a week with her musical dynamism.

Brazilian musician Tiago Astori played the piano, the guitar and the jambe before discovering his passion for the saxophone. He’s since travelled extensively, performing at prestigious venues in Portugal, Italy, Thailand, Hong Kong, Dubai, France and Russia among other locales. Tiago is a headliner at Kalua, inviting beachgoers to sway to the mellow rhythms of his saxophone every day from 3pm.
